Day 80…tenderness

Goldenrod on a wintery day.

There is a lovely opinion piece in the NY Times today by Margaret Renkl. Her piece “Tenderness as an Act of Resistance” is a reminder that during these times, in the US and here in Canada, we need to grieve, rage and keep a tender heart. She writes, “Anger lets in too little beauty, but heartbreak? A tender heart feels the fury and the fear, the sorrow and the suffering, the beauty and the bravery alike. In the years ahead, we will need them all.”
