Day 95…warmth in the sun

It is lovely here today. There is so much warmth in the sun and lots of activity in the trees and in the areas of the pond where there is open water. As we were walking we met a couple of other walkers and we chatted about the day, the beauty, and the warmth in the sun and one of the other walkers said, “It’s magic.” And you could tell that it was magic to her, to all of us, as we turned our faces toward the sun to feel its warmth. We became flowers as we tilted them upwards, leaves unfurling, petals turning; we were shoots breaking through the ground and roots diving further into the soil. There were thousands of us standing there in the sun, if you count the trees.
