Finding Courses
Some suggestions:
These courses are either free or are quite affordable for members or non-members. You’ll notice that these are all US but a lot of what they discuss pertains to any garden.
Oregon State University - Free Introduction to Permaculture
The Morton Arboretum - Introduction to Gardening with Native Plants
Native Plant Trust - Classes and Field Studies
Missouri Prairie Foundation - Grow Native! Webinars (Members of the MPF pay a yearly membership of $35 (US) to access all of their webinars. They are an excellent resource.)
Courses I’ve taken so far:
Landscape Design II*(Fall 2024), Organic Vegetable Gardening** (Fall 2024), Permaculture Living** (Spring 2024), AutoCAD* (Winter 2024), Ecological Design* (Fall 2023), Plant Identification* (Spring/Summer 2023), Landscape Design* (winter 2023)

Many universities offer programming for adult learners that allows you to take a single course or multiple courses that lead to a certificate or diploma, depending on your level of interest.
The University of Guelph has a Continuing Education department that offers many horticulture courses. I really enjoyed the Ecological Design course, though I have taken others. That course led me to learn about Permaculture Design. This summer I completed a course called Permaculture Living with Milkwood. I already had Milkwood’s Permaculture Living Handbook, so it fit me well.
There are also free courses online or pay-what-you-can.
