Day 93…sentinel

I’m no expert on crows or on most things, to be honest, but I’ve noticed one thing about these amazing birds - that while they are often in large communities, they have single crows on the periphery who keep the others informed on things like food. They are sentinels. When you put down food for these singlets - they don’t just quietly fly down to enjoy it - they call out to the others to inform them that it’s there. At least that’s what I think is happening. They are sharing.

Might the world be a better place if we actually behaved like animals?

I think so.
